How much base should I put down for my Patio?
Ideally 4”- 6” of ¾ crush gravel put down in 2”-3” lifts and tamped will be sufficient for a normal patio. Using .5” -1” of screenings on top will allow you to lay the stone level or with a small slope away from your house.
